Patterns with Sponge
Materials Required
  • Sponge or a thick foam sheet
  • Scissors
  • Paints
  • Paper
  • Tooth pick

How to do it

  • Cut different shapes in either sponge or a foam sheet. The shapes may be like heart, flowers, ball, icecream cone etc.
  • Pin a tooth pick on the sponge or foam sheet design. This will be like a handle which can be used by the child.
  • Then give different colour paints and ask the child to form patterns with the shapes on a chart paper.
  • This can also be done using apple slice instead of sponge or foam sheet.
