Use Steam To Move My Pinwheel
Materials Required
* Toy Pinwheel,
* Pot with water,
* Pot-holder glove,
* Heat source to boil water.
Method
  • Boil water in a pot and using a pot holder glove to hold the toy pinwheel over the steam coming from the pot.
  • Observe what happens to the pinwheel.
  • Take the pinwheel away and observe what happens. 
What is Learnt
Steam is heat energy that is converted to wind energy and moves the toy pinwheel.
This science activity is a prominent example of conversion of energy; heat energy to wind or motion energy.
Conclusion
The heated air molecules or steam from boiling water moves the toy pinwheel. The toy pinwheel stops when it is taken out.
