- Rub the comb with the woolen bedsheet. This should be done on a dry day.
- Then open the tap and let the water flow smoothly.
- Now take the comb near the water flow , without touching the water.
- Let your child observe that the water flow bends towards the comb.
- This is because of the electrostatic force, whcih makes the comb charged.
- The charged comb attracts the uncharged water.
