Materials Required

* Dry sand * An empty juice container. * Candle wicks * Pan to heat wax. * Colored and natural wax * A pencil to hold wick * Toothpick to draw designs * Color paints to color.

Method
|
- Fill sand in the juice container making sure the sand is 5 inches deep.
- Take out some sand from the center to make a sand mold.
- Heat the wax in the pan and pour it slowly into the mold making sure the sand around it does not collapse.
- Tie one end of your wick to the pencil and the other end into the molten wax.
- Allow it to stand overnight.
- Remove candle carefully from the mold and brush off sand sticking to it.
- Use the toothpick to carve designs on the wax and use color paints to color the designs.
