| How to do it |
- Spread all the shapes from set of Shapes.
- Ask the child to identify different shapes.
- Ask the child to group the shapes by square, circle, rectangle, triangle.
- Ask the child to count the number of different shapes found in the set.
- Let the child count number of triangles, squares, circles, rectangles.

What can be learnt

- From this play activity, the child will be familiar with the shapes.
- The child can differentiate between the shapes and can learn to group objects.
- The child can be introduced to counting.
