Materials Required
  • Set of Shapes 
How to do it
  • Spread all the shapes from set of Shapes.

  • Ask the child to identify different shapes.
  • Ask the child to group the shapes by square, circle, rectangle, triangle.

  • Ask the child to count the number of different shapes found in the set.
  • Let the child count number of triangles, squares, circles, rectangles.

What can be learnt

  • From this play activity, the child will be familiar with the shapes.
  • The child can differentiate between the shapes and can learn to group objects.
  • The child can be introduced to counting.
