How to do it

This is a long project work for the kids and should be done daily. It will be very iteresting for them to try it out.

This can be done at home or in school. In schools, all the children will do a team work.

Make a calendar with very large or medium blocks for each day and write the days and months on it. Each month, you can change the sheet. It is always better if all the sheets are maintained properly, so that it will be better to analyze.

Cut different shapes from a thick sheet of paper  to resemble sunny, cloudy , windy, chill, rainy days.

If you have theremometer, let the children note the temperature and write it down on the calendar.

Make them watch the weather reports in TV news or newspaper and let them compare their work with the report on TV or Newspaper.

Also , make them describe the todays weather report, so that it will develop  their communication skills as well.

Daily the child has to note the climatic condition and should paste the shapes accordinlgy on the calendar in the evening.

This makes them curious the whole day. Each day when going to school, ask them to find the climatic codition.

At the end of the month, you can compare the change in climate along with your child. Ask them to count the number of sunny days, cloudy days etc.

At the end of 3 to 4 months, let the child analyze the climatic conditions and come up with the most common climatic condition of your place.

Describe them the seasons. During the seasons how there is change in the climate.
