Light and Shadow

You need a dark room, a candle.

Switch off all the lights in the room with only the candle lit.

Now let the child stand straight with one or 2 feet apart from the candle. Make the child view her shadow.

Now, ask the child to move apart either way of the candle.

Let the child observe the size of her shadow as she moves. This is a fun for the children.
