Measuring Weight
Materials Required
  • Equal sized containers
  • Different materials such as cotton, papers, or any pulses

How to do it

  • Fill each container with different materials. One with cotton, one with paper and one with pulses.
  • Now ask the child to pick up each container and arrange it according to the heavier weight.
  • This way, the child will be able to know the  varying in measuring weight depending on the mateirial.
  • Explain also that the weight of object varies if the gravity defers. Weight will be only 1/6th in the moon than that of the earth.

  • Expeirences the measuring weight variability depending on the material.
