- Focus the sun rays at a single point on the writing sheet using a magnifying glass for about 10 minutes. Make your observation.
- Repeat the procedure with the newspaper sheet and make your observations.

What is Learnt

|
China clay used in writing sheets makes them smooth, stops oxygen from getting to the paper fibers, but newspaper made of cheaper paper has no china clay.So this makes burning the newspaper easier than the writing sheets.
