Play Activity to learn Counting and Adding

Materials Required
|
* A large number of 55 children in groups of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 (even if group can be made until groups of 5,6, and 7)
* An adult to conduct the game

Method
|
- The children are told that they have to join together with another group to form the appropriate number announced and asked by the adult.
- The adult can ask one group to come out say of 5 children and announce make group of 9.
- Then the group of 4 and 5 has to join to form a group of 9. Similarly a group of 5 can join.
- Together with group of 7 when 12 is called out, group of 10 can join with 5 when 15 is called out and so on.
- The activity continues till the children love to play.

Conclusion
|
The child said excitedly, “ I love playing this game as I have lots of fun with learning. I do not have to work on my desk all day.”
