Kids Play Activities

Play activity with pulses
Materials Required
  • Different pulses like soya bean, red bean, peanut, peas etc.
  • A big dish, and 4 to 5 small dish depending on the variety of pulses you have taken.
  • A piece of cloth ( may be an hand kerchief)

How to do it

  • Mix all the pulses and place in the large dish.
  • Cover the kids eye with the cloth.Be careful while doing this.
  • Now ask the child to feel and sort out the different pulses in the large dish and sort the according to their variety in the different small dishes.
  • After doing this , uncover your child's eye and check the dishes.

It is good for

  • Classifying
  • Sorting
  • Sensory Awareness.
