The science of surface tension of water can be taught during the bathing time of the child
- Apply soap and water in the child's hand.
- Ask the child to close the hand tightly, and then gently open the hand with the thumb and index finger joined.
- You can see a thin soap film formed between the closed thumb and the index finger.
