Science during bathing
Materials Required
  • Water
  • Soap
How to do it
The science of surface tension of water can be taught during the bathing time of the child
  • Apply soap and water in the child's hand.
  • Ask the child to close the hand tightly, and then gently open the hand with the thumb and index finger joined.
  • You can see a thin soap film formed between the closed thumb and the index finger.

Inference

  • Due to the surface tension property of theliquid, the formation of thin layer of soap solution is seen.
