How I Used Solar Energy To Heat My Bath Water.
Materials Required
* A bucket of cold water, * Sunlight.
  • Take a bucket of cold water and put it out in the sun on a sunny winter day for a few hours. * * Then touch and find the water warm enough to have a refreshing bath in the afternoon. 

Children who take their bath during winter in the afternoon can use this method to heat water. It is also used by some in cold parts of some countries that have sunlight for part of the day and not very hot water is needed.  
What is Learnt
Solar energy can be used instead of electric energy to heat water. Solar cookers is one of the use of solar power for cooking.
The water becomes warm due to the heat of the sun, which is utilization of solar energy to heat.
