Kids Play Activities

Objects Shapes and sizes
Materials Required


Gather a collection of different sizes and shapes of :

  • Cutlery
  • Fruits toys
  • Your kids Blocks
  • Books
  • Pencils
  • Crayons
  • Boxes

How to do it

  • Play with your kid by asking Give me a small one (either you name the object).
  • Give me a round object
  • Give me a square object
  • Give me a thin object(ex. drumstick or pencil)
  • Give me a thick one
  • Give me a smooth fruit
  • Bumpy fruit or bumby object.
  • Whatever you have left see if your child can describe what's left?
  • Ask if it's bigger than X ( one of the objects already used) or smaller than X.
  • Ask your child to find similar object like to thin object.
